Room was basic and noisy on a night but for what we paid we were all very happy!

clean and tidy , value for money
Cook at breakfast would be better to kerb his language when talking to guests outside, and as vegetarians we had no bowls , and weren't offered any to eat our cereals from at breakfast so we didn't bother and ate elsewhere

Terrible customer service
Having booked the accommodation several weeks prior to a bank holiday weekend I was extremely surprised and shocked that a week prior to the stay my booking was canceled, the only explanation for improvements!!
The hotel left me in a difficult position having scrutinise the internet for several hours in an attempt to locate a suitable hotel close by, needless to say I paid an extortionate price for a hotel ten miles away from Filey. Despite contacting the hotel for advice on alternatives, I think it's fair to say the complete lack of replies left me bewildered as to how they ever receive any good feedback. It you're going to stay in this hotel I'd say good luck if you encounter a problem as I guarantee they will simply bury their head in the sand!!
