The Mermaid Enchants
Historic hotel with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff.
Food and service really good
Picture postcard hotel
stunning hotel, very welcoming staff, friendly atmosphere.
I booked the double four poster room for myself and my partner for a surprise night away which was well deserved and was moderately satisfied. I payed £200 for the night which I feel was slightly over priced If u stay in room one be aware the top part of the four poster bed is not correctly fitted and if too much movement it will collapse on you. Food was lovely. The chap who showed us to our room was a very friendly person and I hope u had a awesome birthday night out and u weren't to hanging in the morning. (That's if u made it in). No ghost stories to tell unfortunately only that my watch is always set 10 mins fast but when I woke it was exactly 5 hrs behind so it said 05.01 when really it was 10.01. It hadn't stopped and was still ticking away like normal. Oh yes one more thing 24 hr room service doesn't happen if u order the cheese platter in the early hours of the morning but overall a very enjoyable stay
The Mermaid was as quaint and fun as it looks.
The staff were all excellent - made us feel very welcome and looked after. It made for a really relaxing break.
Lovely place to spend time excellent service fabulous food and brilliant staff
We had a nice stay the room was clean the four poster was a bit noisy but other than that it was cosy and comfortable room, the lounges and bar were comfortable a very nice stay.
Hotel and town very nice.
Staff very good and helpfull. Evening meal very nice. But I do have concerns about paying £200 for a room for a night b&b. Having said that I would probably go there again. Thank you.
