A Lovely Place to Stay.
We have stayed here twice now, in the main suite in the farmhouse. The lovely room has a 4 poster bed and a spacious bathroom/shower-room en-suite. The friendly welcome with coffee or tea and home made cake is so pleasing. The rooms are clean and breakfast in the conservatory is lovely. We were even able to see the otter swimming in the river 12th October 2014, whilst having breakfast. What a lovely start to our day! Many Thanks to the family and staff who run Double Gates.

Double gate farm
The farm was not easy to find but worth it as on arrival we were made welcome with a cup of tea and cake. The accommodation was very good and the garden was lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Premier Class
Much more than you are expecting, could not fault the view, the room, the food or the service and there is the bonus of a pub next door which provided first class food.
