A nice stay
My friend and I were made very welcome upon our arrival by the proprietor, who was able to accommodate my request for a twin room, even though I was only able to book a double. We were met also, by two lovely friendly dogs, who were quite obviously a very important part of the household. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable with a very neat en-suite, which was quite adequate for our needs. Cooked breakfast and toast the following morning was very nice indeed, but having eaten quite a substantial meal the evening before, we didn't need the fruit, cereal and yogurt on offer also. The dogs were allowed free movement around the home and kept us company during breakfast, but this wasn't a problem at all and made a focal point for conversation with the proprietors, a very pleasant couple.

Atholl Lodge
I received a prompt friendly welcome and was given a choice of room and somewhere to eat a takeaway meal if required. Local fish and chips was recommended, which proved inexpensive and very good. My ensuite bedroom room was warm, well-equipped and comfortable, and I would certainly Atholl Lodge again if I need to be in the area. Not too far from Birmingham Airport.
