Elmdon Lodge

Nice and warm reception.

The beddings and rooms were very clean. Enough heating that kept me warm all night. Breakfast was amazing. Honestly, everything was on point. The staff were very welcoming. They know wat customer care is all about. They booked a taxi for me in good time, I attended my meeting on time. Definitely I will visit again and it was worthy my money. I don't regret anything at all.

A Good Place To Stay

A warm welcome certainly awaits you at Elmdon Lodge from your hosts Terry and Katherine, who are both very friendly and genuinely interested in their customers and their needs.

This leads to an informal atmosphere and makes you feel at home from home. A lovely big house with character and a well appointed clean room (upgraded from what I had booked). In the morning a hearty breakfast cooked to order. You get here what is missing at the bigger chain hotels which is a personal service. I travelled to/from here by train and the House is a 3 minute walk from the Train Station, which means the centre of Birmingham is just 10 minutes away, so it's ideal if you want to stay away from the City Centre but with easy access. I would certainly stay here again and it was ideal for my visit, which was primarily to go to the races at the Cheltenham Festival.....keep backing those winners Terry!.

Great Stay, as per the reviews already

I stayed here on Sunday (18th), chose this hotel mainly because of the reviews.

Have to agree, I honestly can't fault the place. Both Terry and Katherine were very welcoming and friendly, great night sleep, bed was spot on.

I would highly recommend this place and will be using it again for future trips to my client in birmingham.

One other thing, compared to even some of the big chain hotels, it was so nice to have a decent hot shower in the morning.

Was just like being at home so didn't even feel like I was staying away.

Look forward to staying here in the future.

Great B&B highly recommended

From the warm welcome I recieved upon arrival, Kath the landlady couldn't do enough for me, and I was only staying in a budget room.

Bottled water and chocolate biscuits were duly delivered to my room which was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I overslept and missed breakfast (due to my slight over indulgence in Birmingham's many nightspots) but even then Kath tried to cater for me with some fruit. As I hit the streets to walk off my hangover Kath then came running down the street because I'd forgotten an item in my room. I'd highly recommend this B&B and will be making my reservation here whenever I return to Birmingham.
