Morpeth Lodge
One night stop to attend a party so just wanted comfortable room to sleep in. Lodge was adequate for this lack of wardrobe space and layout of room would cause problems for a longer stay. Walk in light in bathroom was on very short timer certainly not long enough for a quick bath ( no shower in room) or even brushing teeth necessitating opening door to re trigger device. No opening window and heating very high
Good for an overnighter but not for a longer stay

Last minute decision
The Manager was very friendly, helpful & hard working, he laid out a wonderful breakfast spread, all amenities were catered for. Would not hesitate to recommend the establishment to friends & relatives.

Friendly service
Warm welcome was received. Rooms clean but walls really thin so you can hear everything that is happening in the rooms next door. Was kept awake by snoring coming from one room and chatting from another. Breakfast good.

Welcoming and helpful when we arrived. Very attentive throughout our stay and gave advice about places to eat which were helpful and true. Good value for money, as a stop off before going to the Great North Run
