Now with the welcome addition of Byermoor Tea Rooms housed in our beautiful stone built Garden Room, where guests and customers can enjoy lovely views over National Trust Gibside Estate and the Derwent Valley, providing a fantastic opportunity to watch the region’s famous Red Kites whilst enjoying locally sourced home made traditional fare. Perfect for a relaxing (or exhilarating) holiday, romantic weekend break or business stop-over (free WiFi connection and ample on-site parking). Discover the fascinating array of places of interest: from the busy cities of Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and Sunderland to the gentle landscapes of Northumberland and Weardale. From one of the largest shopping malls in Europe, the MetroCentre, to the unspoiled coastline of Northumberland. From the nostalgia of Beamish Open Air Museum to the modern Centre for Life in Newcastle. Gateshead International Stadium and the Telewest Arena are venues for major regional, national and international events. Cosy and comfortable
Definitely value for money place. It is cosy and comfortable with every incident needs provided. The couple are welcoming and helpful. The views is magnificent from the room.

A real Gem!
This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were really comfortable and of a high standard. The owners were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were really superb. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Home from Home
A last minute chance booking proved to be a real home from home, family run and you feel part of the family :) Very spacious warm and comfortable room, super breakfast, relaxed atmosphere and very reasonably priced. I will be back, thank you :) x

An excellent guest house.
Very welcoming.
Lovely room and a breakfast to set you up for the day.
I would have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending East Byermoor to anyone who is looking for for something a little bit special.

Good Stay
Room was very clean. Had a good nights sleep as they on have a few rooms and was quiet. All the staff were very helpful and gave a great service.
