Interesting and cosy...

Beautiful 18th century guest house with all original features, absolutely charming.

Customer service was excellent - very friendly. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk and lovely biscuits in the room. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Can't fault anything........except that I missed having a cream tea!. Great value for money......won't hesitate to recommend.

Rustic Room

The welcome we received on arrival could have been a bit more friendly.

The room was dated and some of our clothes were damp when we moved out. the room facilities were sparse and the shower room could do with some heating.

February visit

I received a warm welcome.

The Guest House was a very interesting listed building and the room was comfortable and warm. There was off road free parking. Breakfast was substantial and of good quality.

Quirky and Comfortable

Having read some good and bad reviews on the B&B decided to give it a go.

Yes there was a musty smell when entering, the stairs and passageways were quite dark and there wasn't a straight wall (or floor) in the place. However I found it clean and comfortable, plenty of parking, the owner pleasant and several places to eat within easy walking distance. It is not a Hilton or Premier Inn but it does have character and is a fraction of the price

brilliant b&b

was very clean and tidy , loved the slopping floors and the original features of a typical 300 yr old cottage , also impressed with flexability of checking out , & the freedom to come and go as you please
