It was nice and pleasant stay
Its was very pleasant stay.
. I must say the hospitality was fabulous. A bit off from city centre. But the location and natural beauty were remarkable. Absolute value for money. Only issue was the narrow approach towards the hotel.
a fabulous place to stay- very intimate, comfortable and very inviting.

Wonderful welcome and stunning views
Mrs Nott could not have done more to make us welcome - coffee on arrival and wonderful home-cooked breakfasts.
The accommodation is self-contained, charming and comfortable, with stunning countryside views. A total pleasure, which we hope to repeat.

Gem of a guesthouse
I'm so glad to have found this little gem of a farmhouse guest house, the owner was helpful and friendly and the accommodation was perfect, comfortable room, excellent location and value.
One night in the country
The guest house was welcoming, clean and just what we needed after a long journey to Exeter.
Mrs Nott was a wonderful hostess, welcoming us with afternoon tea served in the conservatory, which afforded us with breathtaking views of the Devon countryside. Our room was cosy and very clean and we both had a restful nights sleep.
The next morning, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast cooked by the wonderful Mrs Nott.
Matford Belvedere is worth a visit purely to appreciate the history of the building, which Mrs Nott is happy to share and the stunning location.
A fabulous stay at the Matford Belvedere, Exminster - 10 minutes from Exeter
What a good decision to stay Bed & Breakfast after our long journey down from Berwick-upon-Tweed via Leeds.
Mrs Knot is an excellent hostess. She greeted us warmly with fresh coffee and homemade cake and showed considerable hospitality throughout our stay. My son and I stayed in a lovely, well prepared room and had private use of the bathroom and rear of Mrs Knot's elegant home. We were able to venture out into Exeter for a evening meal without feeling the need to rush back and were treated to a wonderfully prepared breakfast of local produce the following morning. If our son chooses to study at Exeter University I would, without reservation, look to book further visits for my wife and I at the Matford Belvedere.
