71% would recommend it to a friend
We only stayed for one night, the accommodation was very good, very clean.
We would definitely stay at this holiday village again. The kids loved it. Regards
Lisa and family.
No catering provided on site unless full board and got locked in room due to faulty door lock
Unless you book full board there is nowhere to go and eat on the site, we had a cold pastie on the bed.
You can't access the harbor from the site so pictures misleading. Kept awake all night and locked in room due to faulty door lock. Facilities on site are poor/non-existant.
Mill Rythe Holiday Village
Happy to use again.
Mill Rythe Holiday Village
Very good value, I would happily recommend this resort.
Dark stuffy room, mould on disabled shower chair, not for young couples and full off 70+ years old
We booked as Spa resourt with outdoor pool, indoor pool and sauna.
On arrival outdoor pool was shut until end of May, no sight of sauna and indoor pool opens from 9-5 .. with check out by 10 you get 1hr tops. Whirpool bath tabs was missing tiles and has seen its better days in the eighties. ladies showers were dirty & full of hair and permanent dirt with extensive use and in need of modernisation. Main clientele are pensioners or groups of carers with diabled holiday makers and is clearly not a Spa it was advertised as. Room -positive was a very well made bed, but shower had disabled chair in it and the rim was mouldy which gave room a stale smell and fan in bathroom was not working to help airflow. WiFi was down entire evening, but did start again in the morning just before check out. As to entertainment we have counted 2 more couples of under 40, who looked on the house band trying to get their 70+ and the coach worth of mine sweepers from WWII on the dance floor with half of customers dozing off from a busy day of holidaying.
easter break away
A nice room , clean and comfortable accommodation, we had a free upgrade also, all the rooms were fully booked but it was very quiet around the site, the club in the evening was very busy and did have lots of children in.
Would definitely stay again, good value for money.
one night stay
after leaving portsmouth music on southsea common sat at 1-15 arrived at mill rythe about 2am sun.
I had told their office I would be arriving after 1am sun was told they would notify security. When I got to reception which understandably was locked I rang the relevant no on the door, took me half an hour to get any contact. security said they weren't told I would be late but then showed us to chalet. After the slight bit of bovver finally got some shut eye. Problem was did not get much as you have to be out of room by 10am.
