Stay at Anya
It was a long way from the centre and took 45 mins to get there but the Metro was great.
The hotel was a friendly family run affair. My room was clean and had everything i needed. The night was quiet and although the bedding was a little worn and could do with an update - my stay was uneventful and pleasant enough. The price was reasonable and if you need an economic stay in paris then this is fine if you want to use it as a a base and are not looking for anything extravagant.
Perfect place for a short stay
In the country for a conference and stayed the extra day to have a look around a city I've never been to before.
I was meeting a friend in the evening and aimed to be out early the next morning. As such, I only required somewhere to drop my bag, sleep and shower in the morning. For that and for the price, there's no complaints from me.
The room was clean, tidy and warm. The bed was comfy and there was enough space for what I needed. Granted, the shower arrangement is a little weird so I'd certainly advise moving the toilet paper out before you shower ... I learnt that one the hard way. Also glad that I didn't have a suitcase as there was no lift and the walls were a little on the thin side.
As I've said though, for what I needed the room for, it was perfect and at a price I (a tight fisted Yorkshireman) could deal with.
The owners were friendly and it appears that they've taken previous complaints on-board; e.g. the previous 1am-6am curfew is now just the time when the reception is closed. You can still get in and out with a code and your key. All in all, I was a little worried about this but I found it to be exactly what I needed. If I was in Paris again I'd certainly consider using this hotel again.
very clean, old hotel, small rooms, price corresponding to the hotel for Paris, tv in room, good to spent the night, not to be all the day in the room.
Good to spare money. Small for two people but possible.
Good value for money, simple but in a good location
Hoyle anya was simple but had everything I required.
It was in a good location. It provided wifi.
There was no lift and I was on the second floor but with a suitcase it was hard. The rooms are small but have everything needed. There is tv too. The location was great though and it was fairly quie. Some good cafes in the area. So close to Voltaire metro station.
