Very Nice
Booked a suite on late rooms the night before we stayed but was advised in the morning somebody had booked it a few minutes earlier so had a standard room instead. Standard room was nice enough. Few minor criticisms - flaking plaster coming off the walls next to one of the windows, mirror light did not work, no hair drier in the room.
Overall- nice and friendly with a very good breakfast. bacon, sausage etc.

Very pleasant stay at the Manorhaus - Restaurant with rooms
The room we chose to book was a suite. Room 2 was a lovely big room with separate lounge and bedroom areas with the toilet and shower pod in between. Each area had its own TV. The bed and mattress were sumptuous fitted out with lovely top quality cotton bed linen. The shower room was designed as a wet room with a drench type shower head the quality of the fittings and décor was also lovely with big fluffy white towels. Our only criticism is that you couldn't avoid getting the toilet and seat wet while showering but I suppose that is just the design style. We received a warm welcome when we booked in and the staff in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast were courteous and chatty. Restaurant service was exceptional and the quality and choice of food was excellent. The menu states a set price for either 2 or 3 courses but there are some additional costs depending on what you choose but these are clearly stated along side the menu. Breakfast choice was good with proper sausages and cured bacon but there is also plenty of other choices on the menu including salmon. There is no car park at the hotel but there is a small pay & display car park just around the corner and the hotel will present you with a complimentary car park pass to put in the window of your car.
We had a lovely stay at the Manorhaus and would not hesitate to stop there again. definitely a 4 star and there is also a hot tub on site which is bookable book if you want to relax - Unfortunately we didn't bring our bathing gear - Shame !!
