Wonderful Wookey
A wonderful place to escape to and a menu to match the finest in Somerset. You could not be made to feel more at home than here. The 'portal entrance' to the shower worked and looked so good. The breakfast basket delivered to your room is a great way to start the day and helps shake off the fine wine from the night before. Many thanks and love and peace.

Had a wonderful stay
Beautiful room with lots of space. Ideal location for walking in the Mendips, with several routes from the door. The food was excellent, and the continental breakfast to eat in the room was delightful.

Single night business stay
First time stay here, but eaten here several times before.
Evening food excellent - high standard grub.
Breakfast is 'continental only' - basket outside the door. Not a problem as far as I'm concerned.

Business Stop Over One Night.
A very friendly welcome, I had a very large room with a very large comfortable bed, all the facillities you would expect and more.
My room was warm, clean and tidy although a little tired, as was the bathroom the shower was an interesting concept very good but it is quite a high step up into it, and you needed to be careful getting out as its quite a step down!
Breakfast is served in a basket and left out side your room, juice, cereals, pastries and fruit which was fine.
Dining, the food is superb, and of a very high quality, and generous portions, also an excellent range of ale's and ciders. well worth a visit.
