Reviews - The Epperstone

4AA Assessed Guest Accommodation Ratings explained
15, Abbey Road , Llandudno, LL30 2EE
This elegantly designed building is over 100 years old and has spacious rooms with some fine features including original stained glass, original fireplaces, a superb mahogany staircase and award winning gardens.

The elegant Edwardian lounge area offers peaceful and comfortable surroundings, to ensure that all of our guests receive perfect tranquility upon entering.

In the summer sunlight, the intimately designed dining room sparkles. Almost as if the stars themselves were burning bright within the room. During occasions such as our Christmas and New Year festivities, the dining room itself glows from the splendour of elegantly arranged moonlight candles.

Toward the rear of The Epperstone resides our own private car park. In which all guests are more than welcome to use during their stay. Which can be easily accessed via a quiet road adjacent to The Epperstone.

The Victorian styled conservatory, is conveniently arranged to allow our guests to relax in comfort and sheer bliss. With an aquarium filled with vibrantly coloured exotic fish and overlooking the award winning gardens. Both of these features will ensure an even more relaxing time within the victorian themed conservatory.

not the room I reserved
On arrival I was told that room I had booked and had been confirmed was not available, I presumed as I had booked for a single night, that somebody wanted to stay in the larger room with king sized bed that I had reserved, and they may have been staying for a longer period hence better for the owner, I have to say the staff were very apologetic and the room they gave us was not to bad a be it smaller bed and with a double and single bed in it, it was a bit cramped, it was very clean as was the rest of the hotel that I saw, we did not eat in the evening so cannot really comment on the food, I am a veggy so my two poached eggs were ok the toast was a bit chewy, my wife had bacon which she said was a bit salty but otherwise ok. The staff were very good and very welcoming, the hotel was very clean, but I was not happy about room being sold after I had booked it and had it confirmed by Late Rooms, finally I was given a decent discount, I only paid £65 for our stay, this hotel is fine if you like the Edwardian elegance theme, lots of wall prints and paintings and lots of nick knacks and ornaments , I prefer less clutter (obviously personal preference) I would not stay here again myself but I am sure lots of people will enjoy their stay here.
