Reviews - Singel Hotel

Singel13-17, Amsterdam, 1012 VC
Right next to the Koepelkerk, this quiet hotel is set in 3 renovated 17th-century houses on the Singel Canal. Amsterdam Central Station is 200 metres away.
A simple continental breakfast is served each morning at Singel Hotel. Many cafés and restaurants can be found on the lively Haarlemmerstraat or in the Jordaan neighbourhood, both a 5-minute walk away.
The modern rooms have en suite bathrooms with hairdryers and a free in-room safe. Quite unique in old houses in Amsterdam, the hotel has a lift.
24-hour reception and luggage storage are available. Hotel Singel can provide rental cars, and give advice on city tours. A public parking garage is located about 400 metres away.
Anne Frank’s House and Dam Square are both a 10-minute walk away. Martelaarsgracht Tram Stop is 5 minutes away, and offers links to all main Amsterdam attractions.

The Singel Hotel was a Fantastic find.
The Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the room we was in had a massive King size bed plus a lovely view of the canal.
Can't wait for our next visit.

Nice hotel & great location.
Having been to 'The Dam' a few times before I knew the area, this hotel is in a great spot near the local hotspots. Located between Jordaan and the Red Light you have the best of both. Everything is with in walking distance. The Hotel is clean , has an elevator, the staff are friendly and willing to help. We had room 11 which was okay for a weekend stay but not the biggest. Breakfast is the usual continental selection of sliced meat, cheeses, boiled eggs & breads etc.. Overall a pleasant stay and would like to book again for Kings Day 2015.

Central location. Clean basic hotel
Very handy for centraal station. Basic rooms, no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Clean and comfortable, decent breakfast in tiny dining room. Staff mostly lovely. Big of road noise on canal side of the hotel, but quiet overnight till about 6am.

First Time in Amsterdam
Found the hotel to be clean & tidy and the bedroom even though small was fine for a short break. The continental breakfast was fine.
The hotel is in a good location for all parts of Amsterdam with out the need to use transport for sight seeing.
I would definitely stop at this Hotel again. Good value for the money.

Small
I had a small room which was fine. There was a constant loud hum from an extractor fan, which was not so good. Breakfast all good. Location great.

Small but Good
My room was tiny but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good for a continental. No tea or coffee in the room but available free at all times opposite reception area.
