Pros: Lovely house, Annie really welcoming, breakfast was great and on time. Easy walk into Hertford with lots of shops and restaurants.
Cons: Room v small - should really have been a single, it was quite noisy being on a corner of a road junction, extra for some breakfast items which for the price of accomodation could really have been included

Thought of everything
My sister-in-law and I stayed in the twin room. We received a very hospitable welcome, and the contact prior to our arrival was excellent. The room was very clean, with everything you need, and more. This included a kettle with plenty of hot drink choices, biscuits, & sweets, a hairdryer, a tv, wifi access etc. There were plenty of shower gels etc in the ensuite if you had forgotten your own. We found the beds very comfortable. The breakfast, at a time of our choosing, was delicious with a wide variety of choice. A lovely overnight stay.

Number One
Lovely room in a beautiful house. The room and en suite were spotlessly clean and full of quirky and luxurious touches.
I can recommend the full English breakfast. High quality food served promptly in the breakfast room, which was full of fresh flowers and every condiment imaginable!
One night isn't enough to take it all in really. Annie is a great host and I highly recommend Number One.

Lovely B&B
The Host was wonderful, room tasteful decorated but a little small. For twin bed accommodation I now would expect King singles as would most.
Location was great but I feel slightly overpriced.

Beautiful b&b
What an amazing place, extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated. We were greeted at the front gate by the owner who went out of her way to make us feel at ease. Every room is decorated to a very high standard, our room was beautiful the bed was very comfortable and every room was very clean. Our breakfast was very nice all brought from a local farm shop and cooked fresh. I would highly recommend staying here.

Outstanding and exquisite
Thank you, Annie, for making our stay so pleasurable. We enjoyed your luxurious, flamboyant, almost majestic B&B and will definitely make time to stay again. This morning I felt as if I had breakfast like a princess - heaven!! Our nickname for your adorable retreat is "Castle Hertford". A first class B&B with first class hospitality. The rooms were super modern with thoughtful extra touches like cappuccino drink and sweeties. Breakfast was out of this world. Can't wait to come back for some more indulgence.

Great place & host
Well worth staying - better than a large 5 star hotel with really nice and clean rooms fitted out with top quality fittings and on - suite. Breakfast first class and Annie who runs the place is a fantastic host and persioanlity. Expect to be wowed by the interior. Only 3 rooms here so book early. Breakfast served on one large table which is certainly different and the table is set like something out of a movie scene.

Fantastic stay
I chose this fantastic B&B after having a few bad experiences in the usual chain hotels over the past few weeks. I wasn't disappointed. A beautiful room, with everything I needed, and some great restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the train station, and a great breakfast to start off the day. Would definitely stay again.
