Room upgrades planned (shared facities at present) but bed excellent. No in-house evening meals and take-away's only in village but bar provided facilities - breakfast excellent. Pub very lively (karaoke Friday/Saturday) till early hours but barely audible from bedroom (no 1). Not wheelchair friendly. Working village pub with absolutely no pretensions but very friendly and enthusiastic young management. In our case a good base for seeing folk. Set in a beautiful, if sparsely inhabited, area and we found good restaurants - just don't judge a book by its cover!

not a bad stay
good clean room it was a pub so i did not expect it too be too quiet and it was not but not over load either . room its self nice and clean shared bathroom clean as it can be for shared with coast to coast cycle lads . landlady did say it was a bit tied as she is going to refurbish all rooms and make all on suite so is should be excellent in future . it is what it is and i had a good night . first time stayed in pub and would do it again . have not got any complains as the land lady being so nice made up for the bit tied accomodation .
