4Visit England Assessed Bed and Breakfast Ratings explained
5, Victoria Road , Penrith, CA11 8HR
@EdenGate is a family run Victorian guest house offering bed & breakfast accommodation situated ¼ mile from Penrith town centre. Within the 19th century exterior you will find quality cornicing and many more original features. Our rooms have all you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The guest house offers easy access to many places of interest such as Ullswater and Ullswater Steamers, Rheged Discovery Centre, Lowther Castle Gardens, Hutton in the Forest and Dalemain country house, which are all within a few minutes’ drive. All of the main Lake District and Eden Valley attractions are readily accessible, many by public transport.

@EdenGate is a great place to stop overnight if you are tackling Le Jog or the C2C cycle route. We have secure storage for cycles and are very used to helping dry wet cycling gear! We can accommodate parties of up to 12 and are happy to organise accommodation for larger groups in neighbouring guest houses. For the car users and support vehicles we have private off-street parking, this and our cycle storage means that your stay will be worry free as well as comfortable.

Whatever the reason for your visit to Penrith, we are sure you will find our guest house offers the best in Cumbrian hospitality, with comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation in an accessible area of Penrith.

Fantastic Stay
Owners were very friendly hosts, the room was bigger than expected-plenty of storage space and room to move about, great shower, the whole room was totally spotless. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious! Owner was very welcoming and gave us advice on how to get to the church our friends were marrying at as well as recommendations on where to go on the previous night. Free wifi in the rooms was a bonus! All in all a brilliant B+B- we've paid much more for far less in many hotels! Highly recommended!
