Small but perfectly formed!
A true last minute snap decision, booked on Saturday afternoon for a Sunday night stay for the last night of the Pythons at the o2. No real expectations considering the extremely attractive price .. what a surprise! A friendly welcome, efficient check in, secure parking on site and very nice rooms complete with a huge shared balcony. (shame about the weather, didn't get to enjoy it!) Well equipped bathrooms, complimentary bottled water a selection of fresh fruits and juice, Breakfast was fairly basic but, hey, it was free!
All in all, a great find, easy links to both Excel and the O2,with pleasant efficient staff, two very happy Monty Python fans!

Staying in the Docklands
I thought this hotel was outstanding value for money. They really couldn't do enough to make you welcome and happy. I always thought that the Budapest Intercontinental was the best hotel I'd stay in, but this was for value, matched it. Charming staff. Quiet too for sleeping.

Great for o2
Loved the hotel and staff. Area slightly dodgy but worth it. Breakfast whilst nice could of had more of a selection. Not 5 minute walk from tube station more like the 10. Gave free water bottles, fruit juice and fruit which was really appreciated in the heat. Was in the annex which is a converted 3 storey house a few houses away. Had access to the main hotel and kitchen at all times. Nearby shops open late. Slightly noisy neighbours but it was a hot Saturday night. Would stay again.

Good accommodation if you need to be near the excel building
Friendly and helpful staff. However room was extremely hot as I was given front room after a day of sun beating on it. I had done a whole day of Zumba at an academy but couldn't chill out after my day due to the room being very warm and only a small fan blowing warm air around the room. Good that you could help yourself to bottled water or juice though.

Nice, friendly hotel
Although the hotel was in a somewhat rough area, it was very clean and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem that I had was that my room was very hot on my second night. However this was after a very hot day (32 C), so was not really surprising. The breakfasts were good, fruit and bottled water were always available. Guests could bring takeaways in, use the crockery and cutlery provided and eat in the lobby. My room was very quiet when the windows were closed.

At Least They Have A Good Photographer
This isn't a hotel. It's a B&B with a really good photographer.
While the staff were friendly and attentitive, the room (Although 'shoebox' would be a better way to describe it) was small, cramped and tapered off half way into it due to room being next to the roof. The sink had mould under the plughole, and the bathroom was more like a wardrobe due to how tiny it was. The rooms are claimed to be soundproof, but this is clearly a lie, given the small gap underneath each door, and the fact that I could hear music playing from other rooms.
The surronding area didn't feel particuarly safe either, and gangs hanging around street corners were a common site.
Please don't visit this hotel. Do Lenny Henry a favourite and go to a Premier Inn instead.
