At Least They Have A Good Photographer
This isn't a hotel. It's a B&B with a really good photographer.
While the staff were friendly and attentitive, the room (Although 'shoebox' would be a better way to describe it) was small, cramped and tapered off half way into it due to room being next to the roof. The sink had mould under the plughole, and the bathroom was more like a wardrobe due to how tiny it was. The rooms are claimed to be soundproof, but this is clearly a lie, given the small gap underneath each door, and the fact that I could hear music playing from other rooms.
The surronding area didn't feel particuarly safe either, and gangs hanging around street corners were a common site.
Please don't visit this hotel. Do Lenny Henry a favourite and go to a Premier Inn instead.

Good basic accomodation
This hotel wasn't what I expected. It's located in the centre of a residential area but it's surprisingly quiet in the evening. It's also an easy walk to DLR stop, Excel centre and a 5 minute train ride to the O2. The people on reception were very friendly and the room was basic but clean and exactly what you need for one or two nights. Would recommend.

Great for O2 visits
Hotel ideally located for O2 arena. Very friendly staff, free water fruit etc. good secure parking. This is limited but where isn't it! The hotel is small, don't blink when driving you'll miss it. The area it is in, is the worst thing but that's why the price is great , and your near the O2. Room was very nice new fittings and clean. Shower worked fine. Room s a little small but fine for short stay. Breakfast included was very nice, and as said earlier staff where very courteous and attentive.

Lovely clean hotel!
The hotel is located a short walk from the Excel Cent and train station in which is ideal, also surrounded by shops and take away places.
On entering the hotel you walk in to a lovely clean eating area/reception.
Check in didn't take to long.
The staff are all lovely, especially the man in which checked us in, very kind.
There is free drinks and fruit to take when you want, I thought this was really cute as not many hotels do this.
You can really tell the hotel had just been re-done as it all looked very new.
The room was small but very very cosy! The bed felt so lovely, also the bathroom may of been small but well designed, although I would of used a different wall paper for the bathroom and a glass door to keep the water going everywhere. The shower was well spaced out. The toilet and tap was very well designed. The TV was great, not to big not small, HD from what I could tell.
Sadly we couldn't eat breakfast as we came down near closing 9.30am and there was no more seats to sit on. I was really looking forward to eating as it smelt lovely, apart from that it was an amazing experience. I would/will go back when visiting the Excel Cent!
