Lovely stay
The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the communal lounge area made my stay that bit more social (I was on my own for a business trip). Clean room, lovely food with excellent customer service.

Great Customer Service
Thought I'd booked into Fawlty Towers when I arrived, but unfortunately no Manuel.
Customer service great and room clean. Was given the four poster room which was very tired and dated, albeit more than adequate for my stay. Dinner was fine, although clearly from a packet. Breakfast however was simple but very good and everyone couldn't be more helpful if they tried.

A Wonderful Stay
When I arrived with my little terrier Chelsea there was ample room to park and I was able to unload right outside the door. The staff could not have been more helpful. I was shown my room which was very clean and roomy, with enough space to put the dog's crate.
My evening meal which was cooked to perfection.
My 4ft bed was a treat for a single traveller - plenty of room and very comfortable. The bathroom was of a good size with plenty of hot water.
The breakfasts during my 4 night stay were fantastic. Plenty of choice, well cooked and presented. Because the hotel has a breakfast menu which I filled in and left on my bedroom door, there was no waiting around when I got to the dining room the next morning.
The garden was very secure for Chelsea to run around off her lead. She was allowed in the bar and the residents lounge and was fussed by staff and residents alike.
I had a lovely stay at Millstones and thank everyone there for their friendliness and help. I was quite sorry to leave.
I'll certainly be staying there again.

A Pleasant Surprise
I would not normally select a hotel if I can find a nice pub to stay in, so this was not my first choice. I was pleasantly surprised to find it warm and friendly, so yes I would stay here again.

Millstones Hotel
Lovely friendly staff. My room was great - had a huge 4 poster bed in it. Breakfast orders were taken the night before, a wide choice of items on offer. The food itself was red hot when served (always a good point!) I would recommend this to others
