Good Internet Connection
Apart from the smelly stuffy room, its clean both the beddings, room and shower place/ toilet. The staff are pleasant. Its cheap but some other lodging places are cheaper with better smelling rooms, sorry, the stuffiness really disappointed me. There was a dampening on the upperside of the wall above the bed. And the window has no 'good' view just debris of metals roofs leftover -so it seems. Just like a mini junkyard. Good side is the internet, its free. Splendid. Luckily I only booked for one night. There was no decent restaurant nearby just the mamak place next door. My kids just had hot drinks there but not order anything to eat. The staff are pleasant and helpful, carried one of my kids' bag up to the 2nd floor. The morning person who was behind the reception counter was also pleasant, I told her about my discomfort about the stuffiness in the room, and she seemed to be earnest in listening and said she would take it up to the management. Thank you for listening, I just hope you can do something abut my concerns. No decent living being should bear that kind of atmosphere. Maybe the rooms just need better ventilation that's all. The aircond was splendid. I wish I could recommend the hotel because the staff are nice but I don't want people I know to be disappointed with the condition of the rooms. And yes, its very hard to find the location if you are not familiar with KL. The directions given by the receptionist is also very confusing, but then again, its just not on the known main road. I didn't know there is a place called "Berryll's Chocolate" House, but once we get to the right road, we can see that building. Then again there is TWO, one at the outside near Jalan Utara, and one is nearer to the hotel further inside. It was a spin to find it, so my advise for others who wants to go there, bring a map or GPS gadget. We didn't have these.
