Our stay
We enjoyed our stay at The Hadleigh Gables Hotel very much. The staff were really friendly. Room 25 was adequate and clean. Hotel could do with an update in décor though as it is a bit dated. The tv needs to be repositioned as we had a negative looking picture.

Dirty !! Awful !! The worst hotel experience ever !!
4 star accommodation is a big joke!!
The room is small and dirty,a big spider on the bed to welcome us, towels have stains, pee in the toilet, garbage still in the trash can , kettle was disgusting , they give us a room which hasn't been cleaned up yet.
Ridiculous!!
Although they changed the room for us after we complained, but the new room still dirty and smelled musty, badly designed and maintained. We no longer have any expectations of this hotel.
Breakfast in the morning is basic but not good enough.
In short, this hotel is in terrible condition,we never stay here again & would certainly never recommend booking up here!!!

sub standard accommodation
Very small room. Advertised brand new refurbished, hook and eye for a catch on the window, smelly pillows, no space around the bed and had to climb over the toilet to enter the shower.

Everything seems done on the cheap
Firstly the good bit: Staff are friendly and hotel is in a good position.
Now onto the rest:
In the room: Small bar of soap (no shower gel or shampoo); tea bags not in wrappers; the digital TV was put up too high so if you are in your bed the angle you see the TV means the contrast is awful, looks like you're watching in negative; shower curtain not long enough so whatever you do the shower leaks; walls paper thin, listened to the bloke next door snore all night; no Wi-Fi in the room even though it states so.
Parking is not great, limited space and if you leave it down the side of the building you have to leave the keys in reception if it needs moving.
Breakfast food all looks as if it was the cheapest option to buy/supply. In fact that goes for the whole hotel, cheap.
