This is a pub with rooms, arrived on a very busy Saturday, excellent location right on the high street of Skipton, however this makes it very noisy, especially as the pub was open until 1am.Steps to the bedrooms was very tight, steep and you go around a bend, not suitable for anyone who is not fully fit and agile. Room was 'tired', fittings were of poor quality, TV was out of the ark ages, bed uncomfortable and room very cold, all this for £90 a night. I would not recommend this place at all.

A Great Day Out
A great venue to stop to visit this Yorkshire Town, only three rooms but ideal location right next to Castle and market. Staff really good and looked after us well. Only a one nighter this time but longer next

Convenient location but does not merit £80 paid for one night. Staff friendly.
Breakfast poorly cooked had to keep leaving table to find staff. Had to ask for bread to be better toasted and was brought back exactly same. Gave up in the end. The room was okay just a bit shabby and the walls on the way up to the room was in a very poor decorative state with paint missing. I stayed with my nine year old as we were attending festival nearby and it had been the only room available in Skipton.
