A quiet night away
Upon entering the room I was greeted by a warm spacious room, the bed was soft, the quilt light yet warm and the pillows were perfect.
the girl on reception was friendly. being close you a main road you don't hear any traffic noise. breakfast was plentiful and cooked well, all in all it was a great night away, just to leave everything behind.
Very clean and comfortable
I stayed for a Friday and Saturday night.
The receptionist are very helpful and the room was 211 which was well placed as it was away from the function room. There was a large party Saturday night which was quite loud. It ended about 11:30 though and didn't affect me in my room.
The bathroom was refurbished and very clean.
I had an enormous radiator and had no problem heating the room on a cold night.
The breakfast choice was good. I had the full English which was fine. I didn't eat in the restraunt. You do need a car when you stay though. It's a little too far out of town to walk.
Lovely stay, again
Stayed here last year while visiting granddaughter and enjoyed our stay.
Couldn't book in on our last visit as it was full but made sure we could get in here again this time. Lovely clean hotel and very pleasant staff. Family came to join us for a meal in the hotel while a large event was also being catered for, but this didn't affect our meal other than a slightly altered menu. Food and service was fabulous and thoroughly enjoyed by all the family.
Functional but nothing special
Staff helpful and friendly.
Hotel basic but functional. My allocated room was third floor up a seriously steep top flight of stairs. The room was unmade and another room had to be allocated. Room 303 was cold and the heating control did not operate (this was reported). All things considered I was pleased to only having to stay the one night.
Not what I expected for the money, rooms ok but his is a very tired premises and the bathroom was in poor state of repair.
for a Ramada it was disappointing
Worn and tired room.
Doors and walls marked. Hairdryer did not work. Phone did not work. Interconnecting doors with no cover on keyhole.
Food good but ...
Reception area promised more than the room and the rest of the hotel delivered.
We were initially given a room key for a room which was already occupied which was a bit disconcerting, although the receptionist was very apologetic. The room we were eventually given was clean but that's all I can say about it. There were notices up saying the hotel was undergoing refurbishment and I would say it needs it so maybe we visited at the wrong time but I was pleased we were only there for one night.
Lovely and comfortable
not great despite the reviews
Pretty poor quality bed worn out and found brown stains on the bed sheets -not great.musty smell inn
We stayed here on a journey back to Wiltshire.
Accommodation was as expected for a Ramada hotel - clean and comfortable. Food was OK for us - either Indian or Italian, which for some people might not be so good.
