Great place to stay and very friendly people more than happy to help
The room was great very comfy beds.
The staff were lovely very helpful and the cooked breakfast was great just what you need before going out for the day. Could not find fault with anything even the music on Saturday night was good and finished at eleven as advised then the juke box played but was only background noise. we would definitely stay here again and may do very soon. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable not stressful.
Place to stay in Greenwich
This hotel represents good value for money if you want somewhere close to Greenwich town centre and close to public transport routes.
Business and leisure
Very accommodating and friendly B & B really enjoyed my stay and my sister was well looked after whilst I went to work.
A really great find close to transport links.
Brilliant Weekend Break
Overall this is a brilliant place to stay, the pub atmosphere was amazing with the customer service being great too.
The B&B was very comfortable, very nice sized room for me and my partner, would definitely stay there again. The accommodation was very quiet at night and is very close to the town centre also
Old school lundun pub!
This pub/b&b was like a breath of fresh air.
It was like staying at the queen vic in east enders only without all the rubbish storylines. Lovely comfortable room. Relaxing bar with lots of proper beer. The bathroom facilities were shared, but of a good standard with two separate w.c's. Friendly helpful staff, and the pub is open until 1am so no worries about coming in late, if like us you were going to an event at the 02. Only 10 minutes pleasant riverside walk from greenwich centre. Parking is free for 2 hours between 9.00am and 6.30pm so again, if like us you are there for just the one night and arrive at 4.30pm and leave by 11am you can park for nothing. Otherwise you can buy a parking permit from the pub for 5 pounds per day. We had an excellent time there and will definitely book again when we next stay at greenwich.
Perfect overnight stay
The double room was nice and spacious and clean.
Pleasant view out of window onto Victorian residential street with colourful window boxes. Bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in a clean kitchen nearby. Not a problem re the shared washing facilities as never met a soul, although there were some occupied rooms. Great breakfast made by Kate. I didn't want a huge breakfast so had a bacon sandwich, cranberry juice and endless pots of tea. There was a very friendly feel about the pub, so perfect for an overnight stay.
T'was ideal for what we wanted; a gig at the O2.
Comfy bed, love the interesting décor. Would have been fab if the original t.v. (same as my Husband's Grandmom's) worked. Breakfast and feline company, al fresco in a little floral, peaceful corner of the towering blocks all around was bliss.
Shared shower and toilet uhhhh! Bed to small and too soft for two people, dust everywhere
Very old room, too small and small bed.
It was declared as a luxury double room. That was not true. You could hear every single word and other ugly noises from the neighbour.
Great breakfast and friendly staff.
Lovely place to stay, made to feel really welcome and the pub had a great atmosphere.
Breakfast was really good. Would recommend.
This pub was brilliant for friendly staff & clean rooms & a hearty breakfast.
The fact that there was an added bonus of a live Ska band on Saturday night, who were great, just added to our week-end. The fact that there was no en suite didn't put us off as we were only staying 1 night. We love quirky places & this was one of them just like being in a time warp. We will definitely stay again. It was ideally situated for Greenwich. One tip, if you get a parking space outside make sure you get a card from the pub to allow you to park there. It cost us £5 but was well worth it as you will get a parking ticket if you don't. Thank you to the Landlady & all her staff for being so friendly.
