Ok for the price
The hotel was ok, the room leaved a fair bit to be desired.
It was run down, air con not working, tv not working, shower hanging off
Noisey as there is building works nearby
All above said it is in a good location near to beach etc and fair for the price

Very disappointing
My boyfriend and I traveled to Barcelona for a long weekend away, so we only needed somewhere to lay our heads at night, spending most of the time out and about. For this purpose it was bearable, but will definitely NOT be returning. Upon arrival, we met a shabby receptionist with stains all over his tie and a threadbare shirt, who immediately handed us a tax slip to pay upfront. An unexpected welcome. When we found our room, it was a tiny space with two single beds, one of which had a hole in the sheets, the fan had no bottom covering, leaving all the inside parts open, the room was freezing, and there was no hairdryer! Wifi is available but you have to pay for it, and I quote , "MAY reach the room". There is a safe in the wardrobe but you have to pay for the key too. The shelf in the wardrobe doesn't allow you to hang hangers so had to be removed. The whole place is quite disappointing, the only good points is that it is cheap and close to the centre.

Having read some negative reviews, I was uncertain of what to expect. To say that I was pleasantly suprised would be an exageration. But for the money it was fine. Very near to the Metro station, clean and the staff were polite and available.

Have stayed in better for less...
DO NOT pay the extra for the breakfast. It is literally white sandwich bread with your choice of two jams, coffee and juice. NOT worth almost 8Euro. And when I asked to not have it the second morning as I needed to leave prior to 0700, I was told they couldn't do that. Was offered a "picnic" after I repeatedly asked not to be charged for this. Room ok. def 2star or less and not what pictured. Area was convenient, and not too noisy for city. NO wireless, pay for and only in lobby. ok price, but there were other options in same price range downtown as well. Did feel like a reasonably safe area.
