Overnight stop in the Capital
Room was comfortable, clean and secure although the room I stayed in overlooked the main road leading in and out of Kings Cross, so was a little noisy.
Windows could have done with double glazing. Wi Fi access not great, had difficulty connecting on my Sony Experia smartphone, despite being given the pass code by the reception staff. As I needed to leave very early in the morning, to catch a train from Euston, I was not able to take the included breakfast, which was to start from 07.00am. It would have been good if a packed breakfast option was available, which could be ordered the night before and ready for collection on check out. I appreciate the logistics of setting this up, but maybe something to consider for the future.
Shared bathroom for boys on the floor I stayed on, was a little on the small side, and with three showers, and just two cubicle toilets, it did not leave a lot of room to dry oneself and get dressed. Bit pokey, I found.
Nice communal lounge downstairs in the basement with communal kitchen. Would have liked to see coffee and hot chocolate provided, instead of just tea and fresh milk as well as as powdered milk, sine people prefer fresh milk.
On the whole, a good stay in a very central location which was really easy to find only 5 minutes along the road from Kings Cross station. I will stay here again, as good value for money. I hope my constructive comments are taken on board at some point in the near future.

EXCELLENT VALUE IN CENTRAL LONDON
Ideal for a single man or woman staying in London overnight.
£23 for bed and breakfast in a dorm, friendly staff and clean and hygenic surroundings only 100 yards or so from Kings Cross St Pancras
Checked in at 11.30 at night, place was quiet and serene. One of the room mates had a slight snore but nothing a set of ear plugs couldn't resolve. Breakfast was continental, simple but effective. So £23 for a bed to sleep in and breakfast with friendly people, or £100+ for a travelodge with no breakfast and people who barely nod at you as they walk past you in the corridor
Clean, but cramped and stuffy
It was ok, but a really tiny room and really hot and airless and noisy.
The down stairs communal area was smelly and full of drunk people. It's basically really overpriced for what you get but clean.
Reasonable price, nice breakfast and people
People are nice, price is reasonable, I stayed there for a week, just one thing is that you never know who is going to live with you in the same room if you live in shared room, because it might be irritating sometimes if people come inside during the night and some people might be drunk.
I will come back again next time.
Great hostel especially for those guys who cannot afford expensive hotels.
If you are a tourists then this hostel is right for you.
Hostels are often a cheaper and more sociable place to stay than some of the grimy budget hotels.
Although this hostel had reasonable reviews it was far too small, only one locker per bunk bed which was already taken by the other occupier and a completely airless room. One of the occupants had the foresight to open the window but this let a lot of noise from the street in. Not a particularly sociable hostel either. No bar and a small common room by reception. I checked out two days early and was told I couldn't get a refund even though if I'd not turned up and cancelled my booking I would have got a refund for anything after 24hours. Not impressed - half a hostel in my opinion.
Clink 261 Hostel
its true to say you get what you pay for, but compared to some other similar establishments in London this one is quite good would stay here again
for one night only
Comfortable, clean and friendly.
Good to have breakfast included in the price. Toilet and showers were very clean. I would stay again for a short trip to London. Conveniently near to Kings Cross. What would make my experience even better. For me, two pillows and maybe if you could make the doors slam a bit more quietly- but had a good nights sleep overall.
Excellent value for money.
I was impressed on the serenity of the environment.
When I heard it was a hostel, I was expecting it to be noisy but the environment was under control with sense of security. The staff were fantastic and helpful. However, I suggest you add directions to reservations especially by train and bus for those that are visitors. The communication by phone was so poor as the line kept on breaking and I couldn't ask how to locate the hostel. I walked for ages asking around.
