Clink261 is a warm and welcoming hostel located in Kings Cross - London’s most well connected transport hub and its newest cultural quarter. It is a rather glamorous boutique hostel which offers an intimate atmosphere combined with a personalised service.

Our hostel has a very British feel; it’s draped in Union Jacks, a picture of the Queen adorns our walls and a cosy fireplace invites you to exchange stories with fellow travellers.

Our reception is manned 24/7 by multi-lingual staff. We have no curfew, but you need your keycard to gain access to the hostel and your room.

We offer clean and modern facilities such as a self-catering kitchen, a chic internet corner where you can write emails, a comfy lounge to play Wii or kick back and relax in front of its huge plasma TV, a laundry and even a travel desk at reception. Our bathrooms were fully refurbished in Spring 2012. Unlimited free wifi in all our common areas!

Bargain central London location
I stayed in the female dorm and loved it. Bargain price for so central to London, Kings Cross station a 5 minute walk away. Room was very clean and bedding supplied was sparkling white. Nice touch was having your own plug on the bed. Felt very safe with key fob entry. Definitely would stay again.

Clean, comfortable, cheap.
Convenient for Kings Cross and city centre. Excellent value for money. Clean, organised. Nice touch of personal plug sockets on each bed. Good breakfast.
Slow WiFi - fiddly to log onto (via Facebook) - needs simplifying.

Best value for money - would visit again
I am not really a hostel sort of person but i would go back here. My bed cost £13 for the night including breakfast (which was very average, but it really didnt bother me). I know london fairly well and the hostel is a very good location for getting around. Was spotlessly clean and had good cooking facilities if you wanted to cook. The rooms were a little cramped but i didn't really expect anything less. Other reviews said that the beds were uncomfy and I'm usually quite fussy about beds but didn't find this was the case. The only real issue I had was that the room got quite hot in the night. Still the most I have every got for 13 quid.

1 Night Stay
1st experience of staying alone in this kind of accommodation. Just needed a roof over my head for the night and so didn't expect much. Can't really complain for the money though as it is very cheap. Free breakfast was welcome, though I wish people would stop claiming a few croissants entitles them to the claim 'continental' breakfast

I was really impressed with Clink 261 having not visited a hostel since being a student I was pleasantly surprised how well organised the accommodation was and how clean it was. If you are looking for affordable accommodation in London and are prepared to share with others in hostel accommodation do give this hostel a visit, I personally enjoyed my stay.

Not bad for a hostel
Customer service: staff generally friendly. Rated down due to me being woken up in the early hours of the morning in regards to a mix up with the beds.
Cleanliness: I was presently surprised
Room Quality: OK. Room clean and beds were not uncomfortable. Can't complain about sharing a I was warned about this.
Value for money: quality was fair for the amount I paid.
Food quality: cereal and toast basically nothing bad but nothing amazing either. Rated slightly up for having nutella on Saturday morning
