Only one thing good: the location
The hotel is horrible, with an aspect very poor.
We touched the room in the fourth floor, and the elevator was not working, with a few impossible, super steep stairs. The bath was not bad, but the frightful room for the price that we pay, the double that in Brussels and without breakfast. Furthermore in our first night we sleep so bad because in the contiguous room there was a problem and people passed shouting until 3 a.m. The better thing: the location and the sights, but I imagine that for this price it is not be very difficult to find a hotel with the same location
Room was small but OK.
Clean and of good value. Lots of steps to get to the room.
Nice room and in a great location
Good value for money
Brilliant location. Perfect place to just rest your head.
Expensive for what it is
I realise Amsterdam is an expensive city, but this was the most expensive hostel quality accommodation I've ever experienced.
Dam & Orange Tulip Hotel
Perfect for the weekend as it is right in the centre and very easy to navigate to and from!
More like a hostel, expensive and not very clean, 5th time in Amsterdam and defo wouldn't book here again.
More of a hostel than a hotel
We had the family room, in the photo it looked a lot bigger and had a different layout.
We had to travel down a flight of stairs to shower and use a toilet. The window had a permanent draft and didn't close properly, in November this was extremely cold. The curtains where also broken and torn so they didn't block out the light.
The hotel was very overpriced for what we got, I'd advise looking elsewhere.
