Very impressive
Lovely hotel. Very impressive modern room, excellent furniture and TV etc, well equipped (has an iron/board etc). Looks more like a smart studio apartment than a hotel room. Small but nice looking bathroom with a great shower, lots of nice toiletries. Right on main road but no traffic noise. Room 123 is next to lift shaft so avoid as it's a bit noisy. Nice bar and restaurant, good breakfast. Limited hotel parking but on-street parking available nearby, free after 6pm and on Sundays otherwise you have to pay from 8am. Very happy staying there and would visit again.

Very Good Deal
I had an excellent deal for the room but even so the room was excellent and I would probably be pleased paying more for the room.

Excellent hotel...but don't plan to bring your car here!
Overall, the hotel itself was great - the staff are friendly, the room was clean, so close to the city centre and it was value of money.
The problem was though that I decided to bring my car to the hotel as the girlfriend and I pop into Bath before arriving in Bristol. We arrived to the hotel just before 4pm and already the car park was full, therefore we had to park into the pay and display...this wasn't the problem, the problem was that I had to get up at 8am Sunday morning to renew the parking ticket after a "heavy" night before. We also had to rush after check-out to make sure we didn't get a ticket.
So basically, don't drive here if you want to lie in till 10am after partying the night before - but other then that, it was a pleasurable stay.
