Oh to be young again!!
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Hotel as I was attending a course in London and needed to catch the early train from Temple Meads. The hotel was a 2 min dash from the station and was easy to find. I arrived at the hotel late (not checking in until 22:30) and the receptionist was helpful and offered me a wake-up call and breakfast for the next day. The room was clean and well furnished( a bit retro inspired), there was an I-mac in the room, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, and a really big comfy bed!
Unfortunately, I was staying in Bristol on a Friday evening, so in the early hours I was awoken by some late night revellers who were staying in the hotel, oh to be young again! I heard the hotel staff expertly guiding the high spirited youngsters (or yobs!) back to their rooms and any trouble was quickly averted. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Bristol, it is particularly ideal for commuting to the train station and good value for money, Well Done Hilton Garden!

Almost perfect..... but not quite!
On the stroke of 8.00am on Saturday morning a workman decided to start drilling holes for about 10 minutes. Weekdays that's okay because people are there for business and will be awake but at a weekend? a little bit inconsiderate I thought. Other than that, excellent!
