Good pub stay
I have avoided staying at a pub up to now, but thought I would give it a go.
Had a reasonable stay. Was given a double room which was very nice. The pub is in a very nice setting and only 3 miles from the estuary. I had some nice walks in the local area.
very nice place to stay...only drawback was the squeaky floors..nice laminated flooring but squeaky.
The Stowey Arms
We liked the layout of the family room with a separate sleeping area for the children and the room was nice and spacious and reasonably clean and uncluttered, we did think it could easily accommodate a bigger bed which would have been nice.
Our stay was for an event at nearby Westpoint where we had to be by 9.30 so we found breakfast was served quite late at 8.30 and 9 on the Sunday which made it a rush to get there on time and impossible on Sunday.
The Stowey Arms
My husband and myself got a very warm friendly welcome, good food lovely comfortable room and a great location.
I would recommend the stowey arms. Great value for money.
Clean and welcoming
Our stay was short but we were made to feel very welcome
Good food good facilities and good hosts
The room we stayed in was lovely with an extra room off the side for our daughter.
The only problems were the noise. The pub was open so the noise was loud going on very late, and the extractor fan outside the window kept our little one awake a lot. But other than that everything was brilliant. The room was modern, lovely fittings and furnishings.
our family exeriience was exceptional.
our reception was friendly and welcomeing with loads off car parking. the family room whichwe had booked was better than expected, we were expection one room with four beds in but their was two rooms, one with two single beds for the boys and the other a double. it was also exceptionally clean and short of nothin it was great. the breakfast, served in the resturant, was spott on.
The bed was a challenge as it did not fell like a double bed with 2 portly occupants
