A break to spend time near family
Stayed in a disabled room, bathroom had a bath with shower inside, for an elderly disabled person this was totally not acceptable, all around the bath there was mould which made the room look shabby and dirty.
Went down to breakfast at 9am, read this was the last time to get breakfast,a staff member was putting everything away, toaster did not work and very little choice, I wanted a yogurt and there weren't any overall disappointed with stay
Trip for Training
hotel is easy to find, but on walking in to the hotel it smells like an old peoples home.
I then had to call a number for someone to come to the reception to book me in, this took about 10 minute for them to arrive. my room had a stain on the carpet by the door, the wall lights were covered in dust and then the bathroom the shower head was old with lime scale on also it had a leak to the side that went past the shower curtain, the silicon and tile grout were old and had mould around edge of bath. the plug from the sink was out an when ran water there was a really bad drain smell form then plughole....also had white stain on the chair right at the front and in the middle not saying what I thought it might be.( something sexual)..... the pub was where you would get food from, for the three days I was there there was only one member of staff working the bar, they had to deal with doing drinks and making food orders even thought the bar was very busy on the Sunday and Monday night. the bar looked dated and tired in need of refurbishment.... at £50 or £58 a night which I paid I feel the hotel let me down....also the hotel states you can get Wi-Fi, yes you have to register for it and then it is that bad you cant do anything on your phone, ipad or laptop and the coverage is very limited around the hotel in most places not working at all, not very good when like me and my colleagues we are self employed and were still trying to do work while been away.....
clean room, plenty of hot water, meals ordinary, beer good, convenient for visiting father
Great value for money

A nice room and a comfortable stay
I rarely write reviews but feel in this case I felt I should.
Room pretty shabby and tired ..no phone in room, even though it stated it should have one...no tv remote, which is bad enough, but no way to turn the tv on on the screen itself. I asked twice , the second time being told..well it's probably been stolen ...not my problem. I was staying alone for 2 nights for a conference with no tv. Walls paper thin and so really noisy at night. I have stayed in travel lodges that seem luxury compared to this place. Restaurent was really cheap but nothing healthy on the menu. Staff seemed run off their feet, especially at breakfast, which was also below average.
Decent, Cheap Hotel
This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay before a flight.
We stayed, before flying out at 7am. You are about 10mins from the airport. Clean. Has a built in pub/restaurant... Nothing to complain about!
