This was our second stay at Poplar Farm.
We were made to feel very welcome again. The family room was lovely, and breakfast the next morning was super.
Friendly b and b with lovely breakfast and great dogs
We have stayed here a couple of times now on our way down to cornwall and had a very pleasant stay.
Maureen is very accomodating, staying up for our late arrival and making sure we were settled in our room. The end family room sleeps our family of 5 nicely and a lovely home cooked breakfast awaits when you wake up. Ruby the dog and the other little dog (cant remember name) kept our three children entertained and our youngest cried when she had to leave them!
Great value for money
We really enjoyed our stay here.
This was cheaper than other options I'd looked at and really pleased we chose here as lovely friendly accommodation (away from the village centre) and good breakfast. No problems with anything.
Popular Poplar Farm
A good welcome, especially from Ruby the dog who thinks you have come especially to throw her stick.
Bedroom with comfortable beds and an excellent large en-suite bathroom. Delicious full-English cooked breakfast if you wish.
One night stay
Friendly,clean and spacious room,excellent location,
A lovely place.
Ruby the dog alone made the visit worth it for my daughter, but everything else was lovely too.
Weekend break visiting friends
Well located for sightseeing in Somerset - close to Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Wells and Glastonbury.
Friendly welcome with lovely walks from the farmhouse and a great breakfast.
A rather rustic but very comfortable guest house with a very friendly host and a super breakfast, I would recommend this guest house to anyone.
Just be careful of two things, make sure you go to the correct Poplar Farm as there is another close by which we incorrectly went to, second mind you head on the low beams.
Poplar Farm Bed and Breakfast
Peaceful & Idyllic setting in the Somerset Countryside.
Maureen the owner was very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The children absolutely adored the animals. Perfect weekend.
Everything was great apart from the bed!!
Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean.
it was nice to have a separate sitting area. The shower was hot and worked efficiently. The lady who ran the b and b (so sorry I have forgotten her name!) was very friendly and hospitable. But, sadly the mattress on our bed was lumpy and the bed seemed too small. (We are both tall.) This was a shame as everything else was so pleasant.
