Reviews - The Old Coach House

4Self Classified Guest House Ratings explained
2 Stable Cottage, North Stainley, Ripon, HG4 3HT
The Old Coach House is an accommodation jewel and one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets. The 18th century coaching house stands proud in the grounds of North Stainley Hall in the picturesque village of North Stainley, just north of Ripon.
This five star/silver award luxury guesthouse is nestled between The Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors National Park and is a great location to explore these beautiful areas of outstanding natural beauty as well as The Yorkshire Wolds, Nidderdale, Harrogate and York.
The area is steeped in history with the historic city of Ripon nearby as well as countryside walks, attractions, plentiful restaurants and country pubs.

All eight rooms are en-suite and designed with modern living in mind. Each room offers a range of contemporary high quality fittings and facilities and with Oak beams in some of the guest rooms this high quality bed and breakfast really gives that feeling of staying in a rustic, character property.

Yorkshire stay for 1 night
Came to the Old Coach House as it was my wifes birthday wanted some quiet time together. Really nice location with Dales on route. Lovely room and especially well presented and cooked breakfast. Lovely pub across the road from Old Coach House the Stavely served very good food and excellent local beers. Yep great stay and will come again.

Quality find
So pleased to have discovered The Old Coach house, Staff so helpful and friendly, very comfortable room with lots of little added extras, a lot of thought had obviously gone in to making everyone welcome and comfortable. Lovely breakfast, everyone catered for, nothing too much trouble.

Definately recommend a stay here
Attention to service and attention to detail are very apparent. Definately a wonderful hotel to visit. Rooms were very nice and immaculately presented. The quality of furnishings and food at breakfast was high. Even the pub across the road was welcoming and friendly. You will not be dissapointed if you visit this hotel.

Great weekend
The Coachhouse is located in a quiet, beautiful village with a superb public house and restaurant within very close proximity. The Coachhouse is beautiful, with a real quality feel and experience guaranteed. The rooms are very clean, spacious with all the facilities you will require. The food is really good, with plenty of choice, in pleasant surroundings. I certainly will be visiting again. A real gem and certainly great value for money.

Quality accommodation
First rate with a really comfy bed and quality "extras" in the bathroom and in terms of teas and coffee.Great shower cubicle. Best breakfast that we have been offered and served for quite some time. Space was too tight around bottom of the bed and would be a problem for some people.
