Marina Byblos Hotel
Really enjoyed my stay at the Marina Byblos, arrived early morning flight from the UK, book in was I think 14:00 hrs, so had a coffee and bite to eat at the restaurant, then a couple of drinks in Nell's pub, staff came to find me and told me my room was ready early. I had requested a room with a view if possible on the upper floors, I got one in room 601 with a view of the marina. Staff very pleasant always polite and asking if everything was ok. Would I recommend this hotel?? I came for a week to use up remaining holidays from work, yes I would come back again. The roof top pool could do with a bar or more staff but apart from that the location, the price, everything about the hotel is really good value for money for Dubai. Yes I think I will return.

I liked the hotel location, the staff were a little rude at the beginning and not very helpful, but once Dilip the manger stepped in, things were ok. The internet being chargeable is a completely outrageous situation and the fact you can only have 24 log ins it's it totally inconvenient to have to ask for a password every single day, or in the middle Of the night when it runs out!
I stayed at a hotel in Al Barsha which was only 3 stars and I had a better time there with more

The pool area you are neglected, you have to call room service service by yourself from a phone line to send you food To the pool, there is never really Anyone around to look after you and take your order, which I find really poor for 4 star hotel. I didn't feel treated as well as I have been in other hotels in Dubai and I don't think I would stay here again because of the lack of service & constant inconveniences with the internet & room keys not Working. I expect to feel Relaxed and taken care of on holiday and I didn't really feel this enough when at Marina Byblos I am afraid.

Reasonable place, with minor faults
The hotel is comfortable, not very luxurious but convenient. Some staff on the reception desk were slow to process things but friendly manager made up for that. A couple of plugs were not working in the room but it's perfectly comfortable. Biggest down is the additional charge required to access the internet, which seems unnecessary in this day and age.
