Room had been newly refurbished and was very spacious. Nice and quiet but central place to stay.
Great people big welcome, loud music on wkends so b aware.
but can't fault the room for what you pay very clean would definitely rebook this place.
Great value and location
Check in at the bar was quick and simple.
Room was on top floor looking over the rear of the pub. Quiet during the night. Bathroom a little compact but shower fantastic!
Spacious room and nicely laid out.Ideal for accessing Shrewsbury by train as so near the station and for visiting the town.
Review of The Vaults, Shrewsbury
Friendly and helpful staff.
Nice atmosphere in pub. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Room was cold but quickly heated up when staff asked to switch on heating. Only problem was we couldn't get the shower to work. When mentioning this on checking out we were told we had to keep turning the bar. Perhaps a notice in the en suite to this effect would prove helpful.
I really enjoyed my stay here it is a lovely room.
The ensuite was compact to say the least.
There were tiles missing from behind the toilet. The silicone was yellow in places. The carpet did not fit the room, cut short and patched. Dressing table unsteady when draws open. On leaving it stated that you were to leave the key in a box by the door. No box just a hole in the wall so had to throw the key into the alarmed area as no one available to give or leave the key with.
Clean room and friendly staff
The hotel was basic and in need of a refurb.
The staff were really friendly the location was excellent. It was close to the train station and the best bars and restaurants.
Basic but met my requirements
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Right in the middle of the town centre and very easy to find
The hotel was very easy to find from the train station.
It's close to all the attractions such as Shrewsbury Castle and the library. Rooms are very clean and everything you would expect from the price that you pay. Only downside is that they don't do breakfast in the mornings. Other than that, the staff are really lovely and welcoming and I'd love to go back.
