Hotel location was great and quite picturesque. The interior of the hotel was pleasant with high ceilings and the dining room bright and airy.

The bed had quality pillows, a good duvet and was comfortable. I thought the one small vial of body wash seemed a little mean and there was no soap at the hand basin. Although there was a notice about the erratic hot/cold problem with the shower it is something I would certainly want to know had been resolved before booking again.

I personally got a slight shock at being presented with a bill for breakfast which I had assumed was included. Overall a good hotel but it needs to address the water problem to be charging £135 for basic b+b for two per night.

great stay

Loved this inn, looked out over the cows wandering the roads.

Great place.

Good pleasant stay in a nice part of the Cotswolds

Friendly, clean place with plenty of atmosphere and great location.

Most guests seemed to have their dogs with them, so I guess it is known as a pet friendly place. Nearby Nailsworth is a quiet and lovely town, much more peaceful than some of the more well-known Cotswolds towns.

Excellent stay

Although only staying one night, the staff were first class and a credit to the management.

Little way to go

Overall very friendly and comfortable feeling hotel.

Got shown to my room by a very friendly member of staff. Downside was it was at the back of the premises in some converted cottages. At first seemed okay in a quaint sort of way.The downsides were power sockets in the wrong places continually dripping tap no hot water in shower (might have been if I had waited more than 10 minutes for it to run) TV so small couldn't watch it from bed. None of this is the end of the world but when you are travelling for business there are certain minimum standards that need hitting. Dinner was very nice as was the breakfast. They are in the middle of some alterations (none which affected me) which I am sure will improve this hotel. I would like to give it another try but maybe in the main building.
