Lovely village inn yet close to M6
Set in an quiet village in the Lake Didtrict close to A66 and near junction 41 of M6. We had a warm welcome from owner of this old inn. Llog fires in the bar lounge and a warm spacious bedroom well furnished with a good comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Plenty locals in the cosy bar and the food was very good with imaginative vegetable side dishes.
