Wonderful place to stay
This is in fact an apartment rather than a double room. It comprises Bedroom (with King size bed), en suite shower and toilet, small kitchen, lounge (with large patio doors opening onto a large balcony). Delightful view of garden, church and surrounding hills. A sumptuous breakfast was served in your lounge, at a time to suit you. There were many little extras which were supplied and made the visit that much more special :- Sweets, Teas (quite a variety), coffee, sugar, cup-a-soups, biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge, Large variety of books and games for wet days, plus t.v., video & dvd player. Parking on site was more than adequate. Excellent hosts made you feel welcome. Excellent value for money . Would highly recommend this B & B.

Lovely stay
Wasn't a room but a 'suite'. Large bedroom with on suite shower room. own tiny kitchen area with fridge and microwave plus all the essentials if you want a meal there. Small day room with couch and table/chairs. A veranda with table and chairs looking over the garden. Lovely stay and host very friendly. Breakfast is brought up to your own sitting room which was plentiful. All-in-all, a lovely stay ina lovely village with the pub at each end of the hight street!

A little gem!
What grabs you first is the wonderful view from the balcony, it takes your breath away. Then when you realise that you have 3 rooms all to yourself in a very quiet part of the house, a peaceful and relaxing holiday unfolds. Having breakfast served in the lounge/dining room exclusively by the bubbly and very friendly landlady is the icing on the cake. The village of Montecute is very picturesque and interesting and it has two pubs within close walking distance. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and very roomy accommodation. Bathroom needs upgrading - small shower. Friendly service. Off street parking was good at a premium in this village.

Exceedind expectations
This is a pretty house in a charming village. I arrived quite late, but was welcomed immediately, and taken to my 'suite'. It had a lounge with balcony, small kitchen area (with microwave and a fridge) and a bedroom with a large bed. A delicious breakfast was served in the lounge. Very clean all round and I wished I could have stayed longer. Can't find fault with anything.
