Hotel was fine, room nice and clean if a little basic, car park was full although we could park outside for free until 8am so no problem and saved the fee.

get a river view ,wow
well it was an anniversary and we got an upgrade to superior room. river view fantastic room comfy and spotless. cleaning girls were very polite. lifts were fast. at nite curtains open lights off and just soak up the nite scene with the bridge turning colours, boats coming up the tyne, and er no one can see into the room nudge nudge. even from the other side. anyway the breakfasts were spot on one of the best. hotel was easy enough to get to over the bridge, fantastic spot ,a small walk to baltic gallery, and bridge. sunday market on quays north side. place was nice and warm. mind the parking is charged at 6.60 a day. we were there 8th to 10th nov and the weather was nice, sun came out, no rain. both enjoyed. bye

Don't book if you want to sleep
This hotel is suitable for people who like to stay up all night and enjoy listening to people screaming, shouting, slamming doors and running up and down corridors all night. If you want to sleep, I'd go elsewhere
