100% would recommend it to a friend
Haven of Peace that is Kettlesing.
The venue is very welcoming and homely.
Ideally suited for people travelling between the Dales and the Moors. The hosts are keen to ensure that everything is to your liking and the rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. The food available is of the highest quality and you need a bid appetite to eat the sirloin!. No hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone looking for over-night accomadation and value for money.
Hospitable Stay near Harrogate
Great food, the steak and ale pie is exactly as good as the picture.
Staff were very friendly, service level impressive. Good location for going to area surrounding dales and Harrogate. Lots of car park space.
The Queens Head, Kettlesing
A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The location is peacefully rural but also within easy reach of Harrogate. The owner is welcoming and friendly, the room was comfy and clean and the (very good) breakfast was eaten in front of a glowing coal fire - at 9.30 in the morning; a definite luxury.
Once again a perfect experience.
I have stopped at the Queens Head on a few occasions and every time it is a genuine pleasure. The pub is lovely with open fire and good beer as well as a range of well cooked foods at sensible prices. My room was again upgraded and spotless. a business is only as good as the people and for me the team cannot be bettered, i just wished it was my local pub.
The Queen's Head is a simple B&B serving good food.
The room was spacious if a little in need of an update. The bed was comfortable but should have been twin beds. The bathroom was also quite spacious but the shower was hot enough but was only a trickle, water pressure was very low. Minimum toiletries supplied and no hairdryer. Large screen tv in the room and coffee / tea making facilities ( although the kettle cord was a bit short . even with the extension lead.)
The staff were very accommodating and breakfast was very good. There were a number of people eating dinner and the food looked very good with generous portions. It is obviously popular locally. We were the only guests on the night we stayed
Nice Place to stay
The Queens Head Kettlesing is a quiet out in the country Inn, but only five miles from Harrogate.
Everything is good accomadation ,food ,staff and general ambience.
We had a very enjoyable stay and wanted to book again to visit the Harrogate Spring Flower Show but was fully booked
Will definitely consider again when visiting Yorkshire

We had an absolute brilliant time at the Queens Head, from the moment we walked through the door to when we left (wish we could have stayed longer) we did not feel like guests, but a family.
We ate in the bar on the Sunday evening and the food was excellent, along with breakfast each morning was of the highest quality and plentiful. We would willingly recommend the Queens Head to anybody, but don't take my word for it go see for yourself.
Lovely old pub with real character.
My room was upgraded free of charge and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and good facilities. The bar serves real well kept beers and is a joy to spend some time in with a cosy open fire. Food was excellent offering a range of both pub grub and options for the more discerning as well as vegetarian options. What really made the stay special though was the staff who were lovely, chatty but not in your face. A special mention to the owner, Louise, you really couldn't wish to meet a nicer person.
Never in my 15 years of travelling have I found somewhere that combines a warm, friendly atmosphere, roaring open fire, great food, comfortable rooms, well kept real ales, friendly service, a great breakfast and a warm goodbye.
I felt like one of the family. Anyone who scores the Queens Head less than 100% has a personality disorder.
