Cheap and cheerful
If you need a roof over your head and a standard bed to pass the night. There are no "luxuries" here, no TV, tea/ coffee in room but you know that already at the time of booking. Nice ensuite and the staff where friendly. For the price and location, overall a positive stay but not for me again.

Great location ... Expensive for a YHA
Room cost was almost as much as a hotel. But staff were great and so was the food

Wasnt sure about staying in a hostel but was very impressed
Myself and 3 friends stayed here on a Thursday till Saturday night. On the Thursday night/Friday morning it was very noisy with kids on their school trips but after they left on the Friday morning it quietened down a lot. The rooms were bunk beds and basic, but clean. Reception area and corridors were very nice and all the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also lovely views of the canal :-)
This was my first ever stay in a hostel and I would defiantly stay again.
