Little Gem in Shrewsbury!
Due to travel problems I arrived late but still recieved a warm and friendly welcome. Some may find the single room small, but I found it cozy and extremely well equipped. There was plenty of tea, coffee etc so you could have more than one cup! Loads of fluffy towels and instructions on how to use the tv, very useful for the non technical like myself. Massive choice of cereals etc at breakfast and the Full English was to die for! Staff were very friendly and helpful with info about the town. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Excellent value
A friendly welcome. En-suite room was spotlessly clean, not large, but spacious enough with everything required provided.
Full breakfast was first class - nothing required to eat until much later in the day.
This accommodation is excellent value for money, only ten minutes walk away from the town centre.
Will definitely stay there again.

Sydney Hotel
We had a great stay at the Sydney Hotel. The room was clean and pleasant, staff very helpful and was within walking distance of Shrewsbury Town Centre. Would definitely stay there again. We didn't have breakfast as it was a little early for a weekend, but overall very enjoyable stay.

I booked in at the last minute for one night only. I was pleasantly surprised. I was made very welcome and given all the info I needed there and then, and shown to my room. The single room was small but had everything I needed - en suite/TV/tea coffee/extra blankets!! I didn't have breakfast but have no doubt it was good as the staff/family (it feels like a family affair!) were so nice. I would have no hesitation in the future booking a double room and bring my wife next time. Very convenient for town and rail/bus stations too!!

A little old fashioned but in a nice way. the room was small but had all the amenities required. The road noise was a bit of an issue. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly.
