red light spells warning
whilst the hotel was clean and the room spacious the hotel is in the red light. girls on every corner and a rent-by-the-hour hotel opposite. oh, and a methadone dispensary up the road.
I am cross at myself for not researching the area fully prior to booking, I was swayed by cost & trick photography..
it was a bit intimidating for me, a lone (woman) business traveller, to be walking to the hotel thru such an unsavoury area

Very disapointed
Do not stay at this hotel it is in the center of the red light area of Brussels there are prostitutes on every corner, No tea making facillities in the rooms and no access to any drinking water you have to go to the corner shop at the end of the road,We are going back to brussels in April to meet up with some friends from the states and will be paying the extra money to stay in the old town of brussels, The old town is beautiful the bars and restaurants are excellent

One of the cheaper hotels in Brussels and very close to the centre, but be aware there are several prostitutes plying their trade on the very short street on which it lies. If you can cope with this, it does represent fair value for money

Not a boutique hotel and in a dodgy area.
The hotel is relatively cheap for Brussels, and 5 minutes from Place Rogier and Gare du Nord. However, it is in back streets in the red light district, with a lot of prostitutes on the street corners around about. Also, some of the rooms are in Annexes, entry by buzzing on the door bell. I therefore was not, at first, comfortable walking around. Later I became used to it, but I wouldn't want my daughter or wife staying there. Rooms were OK, clean, but it is not a boutique hotel.

Chambre correct, pas le quartier
La chambre était plus ou moins conforme à nos attentes, mis à part les 2 lits simples au lieu du lit double. Par contre les prostitués devant l'hôtel, c'est quand même très moyen...
