Cary Fitzpaine House is a beautiful Georgian Farmhouse set in 2 acres Gardens on 500 acre arable farm with horses and sheep. There is a large dining room also solely for guests use, together with plenty of outside furniture for use to relax on summer days.

Excellent Country B&B
A very nice B&B room within a large Georgian farmhouse. The owner, Susie is very welcoming and helpful. Very quiet location on a working farm. Would certainly book again if visiting the area. Bathroom in 4 poster room does need a proper shower installed rather than a bath attachment, though.

Great Guest House!
We really enjoyed staying at Cary Fitzpaine House. The House is away from main roads and is entered along a private driveway. The first view you get is of a well maintained house with manicured lawns. We were welcomed into the house warmly and shown our room and other facilities. The general feel of the house is more like you are staying with a family friend rather than a faceless corporate hotel and I for one welcome this. The room was well ordered with good facilities. My family slept well in a warm, comfortable room.
The following morning we were greeted with a well stocked breakfast table and an enjoyable breakfast experience.
We were able to take our dog with us, we used the gardens and surrounding area for short walks which were enjoyable for all.
All in all a great place to stay, welcoming and friendly. Thank you!

Charming character farm house in delightful surroundings
We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Cary Fitzpaine House. Excellent hosts - went out of their way to ensure our party were comfortable and happy with our rooms. Rooms were really lovely - a real 'home from home' - comfy beds, spotlessly clean etc. Delicious farm house breakfasts - served in traditional country house 'parlour' - very special! The house is in a secluded position, yet it is easily accessible from the main road - would love to return in the future.

Hidden Treasure
My third stay in this listed Georgian farmhouse. A hidden treasure. Pure Country Life magazine. An old building but nothing shabby. Made to feel like a member of the family and nothing too much trouble.
Would return again and again and have reccommended to a discrete group of friends. (Do not want too many people to chance upon this wonderful haven of rest.
One of my top three B&Bs that I have stayed in. Long may that last.
