Good value, no frills
I stayed for one night on business and having booked only the day before it was one of few hotels in central London that had rooms for around £100 so good value for money. This is not a fancy hotel but the room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable. I felt safe travelling as a female alone and the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was again, no frills but cereals and cooked breakfast was available and included in the cost. The only negative was the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, there appeared to be a fan near the ceiling but it was either not working or ineffective. For value for money I would stay at this hotel again.

Not to be recommended
I have written an extensive review on trip advisor.
In summary:
- Double room on the 5th floor which was hot and had little ventilation
- Old bedroom furniture, burn mark on dressing table.
- Matrass on double be3d was awful, could clearly feel the springs of the matrass when you sit or lie on it.
- Broken loo seat
- Plug handwash basin could not be closed
- Old lighting fixture over the mirror with poor light.
- Shower didn't work, too little water pressure
- Very poor breakfast
- Paid £135 which was a rip off, no value for money

Not hat I expected
Really nice receptionist who was helpfull. The room was dark, miserable, TV didn't work and the pace was just uninviting; if I hadn't been commited to paying £140.00 for it through Laterooms, would have walked out. Was on the ground floor and the noise from the kitchens in the morning (heard every conversation and plate) and the maintenance man drilling. Awful
