Excellent hotel and leisure facilities
Clean room, swimming pool area excellent, changing rooms very clean and a good standard, stylish. Well equipped gym. Quality of food in restaurants was excellent although portions a little small. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied.

Great friendly staff
The receptionist's welcome at the hotel was enthusiastic friendly and informative. Although the hotel was very busy and caters for a range of customers it was very efficiently run. The staff at breakfast were again very welcoming and no ask was too much for them to help with. Top marks for all the staff. The rooms were well appointed very clean and roomy.

Good potential but let down by small details.
The accommodation has good potential but minor details let our experience down e.g number confetti left on carpet by previous guests and chunks of plaster missing on staircase.

Having stopped in many Village Inns across the country, we have always been impressed and whilst this particular Village inn is in need of a refurb, it was just as nice

Excellent business hotel
Fairly surprised by this hotel as I wasn't expecting much. Staff were friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Good service experience all round. Room was big comfortable and while a little basic had everything I required. Very comfy bed too. Didn't use the spa/fitness facilities but would definitely do so next time. (Due to the weather in the area I stayed a further night booked direct. - a fuller review will appear on Tripadvisor.)

Excellent Room - Noise insulation could be better
Stayed here enroute back to the North East after a workshop down south to break up the drive.
The room (Upper Deck) was very well presented and worth the upgrade price. The only criticism I would have is that the noise insulation was very poor, there was some sort of event going on and children were running around the corridors screaming and giggling until well after 3am, so not the best night's sleep.
The leisure club is large, clean , bright and modern and is definitely a relaxing Oasis after being stuck on the M1 for hours.

Improving
I stay at this hotel a lot and it's getting slowly better - it is a bit tired in places but this is being attended to. The pool is ALWAYS Very Cold.
