100% would recommend it to a friend
Guildhall Tavern Denbigh
The hotel is full of charm and character set in the town square of the historic town of Denbigh, Our room had all the facilities you would expect and the bed was very comfortable, We had the Valentines day special dinner menu which was extremely good and included a free glass of bubbly.
Breakfast was excellent and so was the service. Plenty of nice walks around the town including a fine castle. Had a couple of minor niggles which were sorted out immediately. Highly recommended and we would visit again,
Good hotel and food
Spacious room, unique in style with some lovely original features.
Just what we needed, space to unpack and repack before we continued with our journey
Historic hotel with character and friendly staff
The hotel's a lovely old building with wooden panelling, oak beams and wonky floors.
It's been modernised but not overtly, so they have maintained the character. I stayed in the Quirky room, which was great. The bath was in the room - I didn't mind at all, but be aware that the bath has no shower attachment. Breakfast was nice, served in a wood panelled room. Coffee tasted burnt, but I spoke to someone else who has stayed there and they said their coffee had been lovely, so maybe this was just a hiccup.
Beautifully decorated, historic hotel
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff would definately stay again
Amazing place to stay if you like the unique
The room was wonderful, with beams, sloping roof and also a sloping floor.
We had to walk slightly uphill to the bathroom. Was a little disappointed to only have a shower and not a bath, but the water was hot and the shower powerful enough. The staff were very helpful and the food was really good. It is a popular bar for locals to use, which was nice in the evening to not sit in a quiet restaurant. I would definitely recommend it, and will probably stay there again.
