Polden Vale Review

Highly recommended - we were most impressed.

Very handy for anyone wishing to visit the Somerset Levels bird and wildlife reserves.

I wish I had found this excellent B&B before.

I needed a overnight stop but would have happily stayed much longer. Nothing was too much trouble, late arrival was not a problem. Had the best nights sleep. Wifi allowed me to stay online.

Wonderful place to stay

Roland gave a very warm & friendly welcome.

I was upgraded to the twin room with its own lounge as well as en suite. Welcome tray included chocolates & breakfast was delicious.

Polden vale

A very enjoyable stay and excellent value.

The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The service provided was first class and we will return next time we are in the area.

lovely place - stayed in the twin room

I stayed here for one night over the Easter holiday period with my husband.

The B&B was easy to find and in an excellent location for exploring the local nature reserves.

Upon arrival we found there was ample parking and were warmly greeted by Thelma who showed us to our room; the twin room.

The room was immaculately clean and benefited from a large bathroom with bath tub and over bath shower, and views of the meadow the B&B owns.

The B&B had a nice old country home feel and decor.

We had breakfast at 8.15am, served by Roland whom we found to be very friendly.

I would look to stay here again as the location is perfect for exploring the picturesque countryside and close enough to drive to Glastonbury town centre.

It is just off the main A39 so it would also be a good base to stop off on route to Devon.

Well worth a visit.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

We stayed here for a couple nights alone after a family holiday with my in-laws, and everything was fantastic.

The room was huge, with a separate upstairs sitting area with a television and a large bathroom. The owners Thelma and Roland were fantastic from start to finish; they were very kind, the breakfast was delicious, and they recommended other things for us to do in the area. At their recommendation we ate at The Retreat, a restaurant which runs as a charity for veterans. The food was great and I highly recommend it. This was a great place for a relaxing break.

I only stayed one night at Polden Vale, but I found the host very pleasant and accommodating.

I was upgraded to the twin room even though I had booked the single room, which they do when the twin is available. Even though I was on my own I felt very safe and comfortable. It is situated on a fairly busy road: in the twin room I couldnt hear the traffic. All in all I would definitely stay again
