Food was rather disappointing.
Breakfast very disappointing - cold mushrooms & baked beans, undercooked eggs. In room dirty glasses and cups not changed. Otherwise a nice reasonably priced place to stay and enjoy Tunbridge Wells. Staff very pleasant.
Great location close to Pantiles, friendly staff and good accommodation.
Would definitely return
Fab Wild West themed hotel - paying attention to the Western detail right down to the finishing touches.
Comfy, good size room with thoughtful comforts including oreo cookies, coffee/tea/hot choc and complimentary sweets. Special mention for breakfast which was included in the price - really tasty!
A nice place to stay, all good, great food and staff
An unusual accommodation, converted from a railway station and engine shed.
Cowboy/Town and Country environment. Not for the lover of total peace and quiet but not overpowering either, great atmosphere. Plenty of parking, room comfortable and well furnished, great coffee machine!. Breakfast truly excellent--steak amazing, evening meal good but overpriced. Very pleasant and polite staff, even carried cases upstairs (no lift). Had a continual problem with the WiFi but couldn't be sure it wasn't my Apple ipad as Apple 'phones worked OK. Location ideal for the Pantiles area with local Sainsburys supermarket adjacent--cheap petrol. Generally recommended for a 3/5 day stay, would make a repeat booking and generally give this 'hotel' 9 out of 10 providing you can get a price deal. We stayed 3 nights at a cost of £335 incl breakfast in a superior double room
Love the Western theme
Loved the decor of the hotel.
Coffee machine and shower in room were excellent. Breakfast was delicious with very good service. (It would have been useful to have been reminded to return key on checkout. It was a long walk back!)
Smith & Western
Our first stay at a Smith and Western butbnoitbthe last.
Extremely impressed by the standard of decor which was consistent throughout the hotel. The rooms had all the extras a guest required with an extremely high standard of cleanliness and luxury. Definitely to be recommended.p
The room was immaculate and nicely decorated
Smith & Western
We stayed in the Mohawk & both the room & the bed was quite small.
There was one chair but not really anywhere suitable to put it to sit & watch TV. There was no fridge/minibar although a couple of small bottles of water were provided. The bathroom was very large but had a shower cubicle only (no bath). The food however was great & we ate in the restaurant both nights.
Wild West in the garden of England? Sure thing.
The room was quiet enough in spite of overlooking a fairly busy roundabout, the bed was perfect for comfort, the country music in the restaurant wasn't excessively loud, the breakfast was sizeable and tasty, the shower roomy and efficient.
Recommended. I'd stay here again.
The windows would benefit from double glazing as hotel situated on busy roundabout (not a hotel for a view).
Breakfast was of poor quality given the price we were paying.
