Avoid
Unless you don't mind hearing the residents above, below and across the hall from you and you don't mind squeezing up extremely narrow stairs, I suggest you stay away. The room was clean, but the en-suite was extremely small. The triple room only caters for 2 people ( coffee cups, etc ).

Hostel Accommodation at Hotel Price
We booked this hotel for one night when going to BST at Hyde Park as the location was ideal and at £120 per night it seemed a decent price.

Firstly do not book this hotel if you intend to drive to London... that is unless you want to fork out £30.50 every 24hrs for the 'privilege' of using the mall's multi-storey car park across the road. Nowhere on laterooms.com does it mention this and we would not have booked this hotel if we had known.
Upon arrival the man at the reception desk was surly and appeared to not want to be there or help us in any way. He got offended when I refused to hand my credit card over to him without seeing what machine it was being used in behind the counter (call me paranoid but I'm not prepared to risk card swiping etc.).
When we finally got up to the room via the extremelty steep and possibly dangerous stairs (no elevator), the room itself was tiny but clean. We were a group of three women so the three single beds in the room was a nice surprise... until we tried to sleep. Two of the mattresses were worn out and extremely uncomfortable - all you could feel were the springs and base of the bed. There were also no flat sheets on the bed between the duvet and the bottom sheet. This meant you either sweated to death or slept with no covers at all.
It was a very warm day but with no air-con the room was stuffy and unbearable. The windows opened a small amount and a table fan had been put on the chest of drawers by the window. This fan didn't rotate and just blew warm air at us. It also encroached on the bathroom door (so did the chest of drawers) which made it awkward to get into the bathroom without knocking it over.
The bathroom itself was also clean and well decorated but I've seen bigger closets. While you're there don't expect to have a shower lasting more than 3-5 minutes unless you're prepared to mop up the flood! We had just enough time to wash our hair before the water in the bottom of the shower basin reached our ankles and threatened to spill over.
One point to note with the bathroom is that with the size of it and the poorly fitted brown plastic concertinaed door (think back to the 1970's or 1980's) to protect your modesty, you'd better be comfortable with the people you're sharing the room with; there's almost no privacy to be had at all!
Would we stay there again? No.
Between the sweat-box conditions in the room and the lack of a comfortable bed we had a long and fairly miserable night with almost no sleep.
Could we have addressed our issues with the staff? No.
Upon check-out the staff member at reception (same one who checked us in) basically ignored us and was very rude. There was no way we could have made our feelings known to him, and even if we did we doubt he would have actually listened.
We would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family members.

A pleasant stopover
My wife and I used The Adria as somewhere to stay for a couple of nights while visiting London.
The hotel was located only five minutes walk from Hammersmith Underground Station and easy to find. Check in was easy and efficient and our twin room was clean with plenty of storage space, tea and coffee tray and kettle, bathroom with toiletries and hair dryer.
It was cheaper than the local "chain" hotels and we would use it again if ever we need to stay in this part of London.

Clean room, good price, breakfast was great, less than a 5 minute walk from Hammersmith tube station, This was for a business trip and I would stay here if visiting London for a short break, overall very good value & I will be staying here again.

Just right
Inconvenient train times forced an unplanned last minute stay in Hammersmith for my daughter and I and I could not have been more pleased with my choice. The Adria Hotel is very close to the tube station and the Apollo and our room at the top was immaculate, comfortable with good bed linen and a nice little bathroom with efficient shower. No faults all round and I would definitely recommend the Adria based on our visit.
